However, emotions that are ignored tend to build up over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emotional regulation does not mean stopping yourself from feeling emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It means learning to understand what you are experiencing without allowing your emotions to constantly take control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When difficulties arise in managing anxiety, frustration, pressure, or insecurity, they can begin to affect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u2013 relationships<br>\n\u2013 work<br>\n\u2013 decision-making<br>\n\u2013 self-esteem<br>\n\u2013 the ability to take action<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developing greater emotional awareness allows you to respond to situations with more clarity and less impulsivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is not to become emotionally detached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is about developing a greater sense of inner balance in order to cope more effectively with life's challenges.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Muchas personas intentan controlar sus emociones a trav\u00e9s de la evitaci\u00f3n, la distracci\u00f3n o el exceso de racionalizaci\u00f3n.
